Gotye’s New Video Release: Will the Singer Have a Viral Repeat?

Australian-Belgian singer Gotye debuted his latest music video on YouTube Wednesday. The song, “Save Me,” from the album Making Mirrors has since attracted a little more than 58,000 views.

Gotye’s 2011 international hit, “Somebody That I Used to Know,” is one of the 30 most-viewed YouTube videos of all time. And perhaps more importantly — by Internet standards — it has been parodied by the likes of Jeremy Lin and Barack Obama.

But then again, what else would you expect from a Billboard Hot 100 chart topper?
